To clean whilst or not that is the question

I really need to give my house a good clean and blitz after 2 weeks of the husband being at home. One child has gone away tonight -leaving one at home and the husband and im tempted to do it today but can i be bothered or do I just leave it to tomorrow now when everyone will be out of this house and ill have a good 5 hours alone to do it!

I have a personal rule that I never do housework when my dh is not there to see the effort I put in. If he's at home I do it very loudly and ostentatiously. In your situation I would do this with knobs on as you appear to be cleaning up after him messing it up for two weeks.

Do it now. And involve everyone else.

Then you can relax tomorrow in your empty, clean house!
