What’s everybody up to? I wasn’t working today so did bits & pieces, got petrol, did a top up shop at Lidl, collected my new glasses. I was very pleased to find that my prescription sunglasses were also ready as I was originally told 2 or 3 weeks. Also I couldn’t have the frames I wanted as they were no longer available so the optician said I could choose any frames in the store. Just so happened that my favourite was a Marc Jacobs pair, usually costing £160! They’re soooo cool! Finding my ordinary pair a bit “ swimmy” as I now have a stronger prescription but sure I’ll soon adjust. DH is cooking his famous sausage pasta & I have “ frozen” Corrie for us to watch whilst we eat. May catch up with more Greys Anatomy later. I’m working tomorrow then we’re going to try again to bond our bereaved bunny with the new doe. He seems to like her & they have shared kisses through the wire of the hutch but when they got together before, they kept chasing each other & he was pulling out her fur 😢We have swapped hutches for them every few days so that they get used to each others scent. Saturday night is ready meals for tea (Chinese for me, Indian for DH) & more tv. Exciting stuff! Sunday we might go to B & M to buy a throw for one of our sofas. I haven’t mentioned DD14 - she’s being particularly challenging, constantly trying to pick fights with one of us or both. Actually being really nasty. It’s so hard not to engage & I regret to say I have sometimes ended up yelling at her, which I know solves nothing. A lot of the behaviour stems from boredom I think so hopefully she will meet up with her friends or we can take her out, if she will deign to be seen with us!

Oh & I’m doing a roast on Sunday ( boneless turkey joint courtesy of Iceland). Even making my own breadsauce with double cream yum

@SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows I hope the rabbit bond goes well, it's so important they have company and it sounds like you really care for them.

It'll be a quiet one here, my depression has been playing up and I'm just glad to have dh home for the weekend, he works long hours.

Taking dd2 and her boyfriend to Loch Lomond in the morning for their weekend away for his birthday (they're 19/22) and then a lot of the rest of the weekend will be taken up with the start of the F1 season, dh and ds are huge fans so I expect I'll lie on the sofa and just hang out. I'm also knitting Easter chicks which go over a crème egg for charity so might do some of that.

Sunday I'm leading the service at church and then, yep, the Grand Prix. More taking it easy, just being around people is good for me. Need to do a food shop, probably with dd1 (she's a student locally but lives with her boyfriend) as she's a bit cash-strapped at the moment.
