Hi please don’t delete hq - this is not ad. I’m trying to highlight for those with hearing loss. The odeon in Orpington have agreed to do a subtitled showing - very last minute. I think they are hoping for a flop so they don’t have to repeat - that maybe me being cynical as this has taken a lot emails. It’s a 12a Avatar - the way of water so great for teenagers / pre teens with adults with hearing loss too and is on 12 30pm.

Most cinemas do regular subtitled showings of films so it's not unusual.
I can't understand why you think they would "hope it's a flop".

I would be very surprised at an Odeon not doing this regularly.

Orpington also appear to be showing both Creed and Ant Man in the next few days with open captions. It's a standard thing. Is this something different, OP?

I don’t think you understand - this weekend is different. As you noted there are two other films at two other showings. That is three films and three showings. Tiny in comparison to how many films / showings but a good start

And yes the point is you can’t even search for captioned films in the filters. You have to scroll through.

In the app you can - it's at the bottom under filters.
