Endometrial ablation - pregnancy?

Has anyone had the ablation and gone on to become pregnant? I've been advised it's unlikely but not impossible. I def don't want to get pregnant.

I was told I could still have a very small chance of getting pregnant but I would miscarry or have other issues. I didn’t get told what the chances of me getting were but didn’t apply to me as DH has had a vasectomy.

You would need to use contraception. Do not rely on the ablation as a contraceptive. Although the chances of getting pregnant are very slim, if you do so the risks to you and the baby are very high. They include spontaneous miscarriage, premature delivery, placental adhesions, and birth defects.

I had ablation and they sterilised me at the same time just in case. It was private though so maybe NHS don't offer this. Makes sense to do both whilst they are in there.

You’ll still need contraception after an ablation (in my case dh had a vasectomy).
