I was wondering if anybody else has this? Over the past week my kids and I have suffered from constant mild heartburn, headaches and achy joints, and we cannot get warm. We can’t figure out what it is since I don’t know if any virus that causes heartburn. One of my sons has been resuscitating.

My husband is fine - the only one of us to get a booster this year. Wondering if it’s Covid?!!!

This has me on edge as my mum just died of heart failure and her only symptom was ….. heartburn.

I had this, I tested negative for Covid too and as it has progressed I've assumed it's just a variant of flu. There's lots of viruses around just have to rest and get through it.

(Not sure what your typo is about your son resuscitating? You'd have a diagnosis if he has been hospitalised?)

So you had heartburn too?

That’s the bit that’s upsetting us, we are literally raiding a dead woman’s old stash of rennies etc and it’s really horrible on many levels. Not least because I do not wish to see another rennie or bottle of gaviscon as long as I live. (She lived with us)

I meant regurgitation - throwing up into his mouth.

Thank you. I thought it was stress until my kids started off as well.

I’ve not been well since Wednesday with aching limbs, headache, sore throat, temperature and the most horrendous heartburn which started yesterday. I just came on and searched heartburn and found your post. I’ve hardly been eating due to not being well I’ve taken gaviscon but it’s not doing anything.

Morph22010 · 03/03/2023 15:56

I’ve tested negative for covid too

@FergussSingsTheBlues have you still got this I’m finding the heartburn terrible today nothing taking it off, even swallowing water is setting it off

It sounds like a virus, which will go soon, if it is that. Drink lots of water, take Paracetamol. Heartburn symptoms are not usually a symptom of heart failure. My husband has just been diagnosed with it, and his main sympton is coughing. You're very unlikely to have heart failure at your age.

Oh, I know none of us have heart failure, It’s just obviously an upsetting symptom. I hope your husband is ok, it’s a tough thing to deal with ❤️

as it happened a few of my friends have had similar this week so yea - virus and negative Covid symptoms all round.

@Morph22010 we found that drinkable renniie is actually quite effective although doesn’t taste great. We are better on that front really - more headaches and chills.
