What would you do with 2 and half hours for yourself?

I have a couple of spare hours tomorrow and want to use the time for myself but I can’t decide what to do. What would you do?

I'd probably listen to Never Gonna Give You Up 40 times. Either that or a nice walk and a coffee.

KStockHERO · 02/03/2023 15:02

I'd start with a long luxurious shower using all my favourite and most expensive lotions and potions.

Then I'd put on clean pyjamas.

Then I'd make myself a brew and put a thousand short bread biscuits on a plate.

Then I'd curl up on the sofa under a blanket and read my boo while munching through my brew and short breads undisturbed for the remaining time.

If I got sleepy, I'd have a nap.

Good book in the bath.
Massage.
Get my nails done.
Declutter (not fun during, but worth it after!)

BertieBotts · 02/03/2023 15:06

I've had this the last couple of days as DC is doing nursery settling in sessions.

It goes more quickly than you would think!

I have mostly been browsing shops and I went for a coffee with a friend. It was lovely.

If at home, I would just have a nap.

Sartre · 02/03/2023 15:07

Go for a run then have a bath and read which is precisely what I did today!

Bunnyishotandcross · 02/03/2023 15:08

Thursday morning is my time off. Cooked breakfast..
Then crappy TV and a coffee with cake!

Impatientwino · 02/03/2023 15:10

I just had this as took the afternoon off work! I made a lovely lunch I wouldn't normally have time to make, binge watched a show on Netflix while I was decluttered a big cupboard of stuff and papers and I've just eaten a brownie with a nice cuppa.

Off to fetch the DC in a minute and feels lovely to have had a little bit of time to myself!

This is what I'm doing next time!

HiccupHorrendousHaddock · 02/03/2023 15:13

Read in the bath.

Sellsellseller · 02/03/2023 15:16

Procrastinate, then turn around to discover the time has completely gone!

Spraylatter · 02/03/2023 15:17

Massage and nap! Plus snacks in bed and tv series

TheDogsMother · 02/03/2023 15:17

A long walk with a good podcast and stop for a coffee somewhere.

Kpo58 · 02/03/2023 15:25

I'd probably do all the things I've been planning on doing in my free time and not get a chance to enjoy any of it because I've had to rush to cram it all in due to the lack of free time I get.

escapingthecity · 02/03/2023 15:27

Go for a swim then a really decadent hot chocolate. Come home and read my book while eating many triple chocolate fingers.

Omg I wish I had read this this morning when I started my day off...!!!!

ItsOKToFeelProud · 02/03/2023 16:15

I had this the other day.. I napped! I needed it.
Otherwise it would be housework or errands no doubt. But believe it or not that relaxes me. I love housework

YorkieTheRabbit · 02/03/2023 16:18

I’ve made some bread and spent time in the greenhouse sowing loads of flower seeds, roughly took that amount of time. Appreciate it’s not everyone’s idea of fun 😂

openingbat · 02/03/2023 16:28

I'd have a Bath and a nap 😂

I love this suggestion.
