Can I have guests at Center parcs for the day??

I have a Mon-fri break booked at Center parcs in a couple of weeks, it was for myself, DH & ds but we've since separated so it's just me and my ds now.
My friend has said she can come spend the day with us one day and my mum is going to come to us another day. Neither are staying overnight. Is this allowed or do I need to do something / pay extra?!

How many bed rooms do you have.

If an apartment, ie son under two, then you will have to buy a pass.

If it's a two bed, add them both to booking as if staying and they can enter and leave, delete husband. That takes you to the four people.

Andjustlikethat27 · 01/03/2023 20:13

I have a 2 bed apartment and DH is still on the booking. Ds sleeps with me though. As I say they won't be staying overnight: is there no price change for up to 4 people? If I take DH off would there price come down?!

I don’t think they’d charge to remove exH and add the friend/ your mum. Go on their live chat…

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 01/03/2023 20:31

You pay for the accommodation not per person. Remove your husband and put mum and friend as staying and they will be able to come for the day then. You can buy day passes but as you have the room in your lodge it won't cost you anything.

spidereggs · 01/03/2023 20:34

Yes sorry, baby woke.

@OhhhhhhhhBiscuits explains it much better.

If you have space in lodge, per BED, they can come and go. Just add as if staying, even if not.

Remove DH.

We have to book a two bed now for me, four year old and two year old and baby, waste of a room! All in my bed.

Andjustlikethat27 · 01/03/2023 20:44

It looks like I could remove DH and add my mum but it doesn't give me an option to add my friend as well so probably have to bite the bullet and buy a day pass for her 😬
Didn't want to spend anymore if at all possible!

If you have two rooms you should be able to have four people on th booking OP. Give them a call tomorrow and they'll add them

Starseeed · 01/03/2023 20:48

Get your friend to pay for her day pass - you don’t have to pay unless you’re inviting her as a gift to her. You can say no to her asking to come if you want, there’s no obligation to say yes to people who ask to tag along on your holiday!

Impatientwino · 01/03/2023 20:48

I had this when I only booked for 5 guests in a 6 bed lodge and then wanted to add my niece on.

Because you only booked for 3 guests it will let you change names on that third guest (Ex for your mum) but to add the 4th guest you need to ring them and they will add her on but you won't need to pay more.

Enjoy your break!

Clymene · 01/03/2023 20:55

Just pretend your mum and your friend are sharing a bed. It's a lodge that sleeps 4. And then either one ( or both) or them can stay over.

There's no requirement that everyone in a lodge has to arrive at the same time or in a single car.

LumpyandBumps · 01/03/2023 21:04

You can change the guest details any time up to check in.
If you booked for just 2 adults I am not sure that you can change that yourself, but a quick phone call to Center Parcs should sort it out.

spidereggs · 01/03/2023 21:10

Do not buy a pass with two rooms. Call them, it's absolutely fine. Just a computer glitch sometimes.

This is fab news thank you!!!

One more thing... I'm looking to ask my dad to drop me & ds off there in his van on the Monday as I won't have room in my car. Do I need a pass for him too? He will literally be acting as my taxi driver and helping me unload then going again..

No you don't.

Just add your fathers car details to the vehicle section on the booking (do this for friends also) to allow them site access.

As you don't have a car it's not a problem- 3 adults, 3 cars.

Andjustlikethat27 · 02/03/2023 18:27

So how do people get round it if they are getting taxis there etc?

The taxis drop you off at the check in lodges and then you have to walk to your lodge.

spidereggs · 02/03/2023 21:06

Call them, honestly they are great.

They only care about the correct number of people age two or over staying overnight. So they might add him as bed one, remove him as soon as he leaves and add mum bed one, friend taking bed two, you bed three, child bed four. Purely for booking.

Or he drops you and luggage at security lodge. I think some of the parks will help hold luggage.

Simplelobsterhat · 02/03/2023 21:12

I've been to center parcs as a day guest years ago but I think my aunt paid something for the pass.

bumpytrumpy · 02/03/2023 21:26

I don't think they do guest passes anymore after covid. So yeah just add them on as if they're staying.

They came back a few months ago, with a greatly increased price on what they used to be!

Andjustlikethat27 · 02/03/2023 22:11

I can't add my dad on ( taxi driver ) as another guest as there will already be 4 of us..

Me
My ds (4 year old)
My mum visiting one day
My friend visiting one day

This is such a bloody mess.

A painful breakup continues 😭

he Will be able to drop you at the check in but you’ll then have to walk to your lodge.

BreadInCaptivity · 03/03/2023 13:03

@Andjustlikethat27

You don't have to add your dad as a guest.

Just add his car registration so he can drive you to your villa and then leave.
