I posted a thread earlier and some of the comments have brought me back to an ongoing niggle my partner might be asexual.
We have been together around 15 years and in the beginning had more of a sex life, but now I think of it, the bulk was initiated by me. He never initiates sex but still is lovely in every other way, hugs me, gives me emotional support and companionship. He compliments me that I look nice etc.. never any suspicion of wandering eyes, doesn't make the comments/give the looks that many guys do. Tbh if we see an attractive girl they catch my eye more than his 🤣🤣
How do I know if he's asexual though? I know I could just ask him but I think this would upset him and he would find it highly uncomfortable to talk about. So I'd like to find out a bit more first and then maybe approach him when I'm more certain it's that.
If there are any asexuals on here or partners of them, I'd love your input! Or anyone's input for that matter 😊
