Does Tippex wash out?

I picked up a couple of pre-loved school jumpers for DS yesterday and the name labels have been cut out. I was wondering if it was possible to paint a patch of Tippex onto the jumper collars and then stamp his name into them. Would it wash out?

I'm not sure that it would wash out but I do think that it would crack and peel or chip off, bit by bit.

Depending on how light the colour of the jumpers is, you might be better using a black sharpie

If you stamped on tippex, even if the tippex managed to stay put, the stamping would wash of the plasticky surface

I think I would just put his initials on it with a black sharpie. Or on the washing label in the side if there is one?

Stickens stickers will just stick on the material and don't come off in the wash or tumble dryer. Worth buying. They will come off when pulled off

I got iron on labels from mine4sure that have survived 3 terms of washing and tumble drying. Super simple to apply too.
