Medication and supplements

I am perimenopausal with ADHD and years of anxiety.
Whenever a new supplement is recommended on here I start taking it.
Life changes have meant I'm much less anxious but I don't know what to quit or lower the dose of.

I thought if I posted here someone might know.

150mg sertraline
4 pumps of oestrogel
L-Tyrosine
Evening primrose oil
Vitamin D
Menofog

I don't know which are helping or can be cut out

If your doctor has prescribed anything, carry on.
Most people are deficient in Vic D.

Ditch everything else.

i agree with echt

I looked for Menofog as it sums me up - but can't find it, os that definitely the name?

Keep prescription stuff
Keep vitamin D (if you really want to get the benefit make sure you are taking at least 4000iu per day) I take this one,
Add Magnesium, I take this one. Needs to be magnesium glycinate if you choose a different one.

Since you are taking sertraline I think the advice is not to take Evening Primrose Oil as well. Definitely worth checking.

Personally, I wouldn't take a multifivtamin supplement of any kind, I would rather take the individual constrituents, in appropriate amounts but that's a personal choice.

This is, I feel, a good article about the best supplements for brain fog.
