Lifeguard interview

Hi, my DC is having an interview at our local leisure centre tomorrow. What should they wear? A nice tracksuit or something smarter? Help!

Are they doing a swim test ?
If so I'd say tracksuit is fine.
If not, I'd say something a little bit smarter than a tracksuit, but I suspect it doesn't really matter.
I just work on the theory that when you aren't sure, it is better to be the one who is a bit smarter than expected, rather than the one who is less smart than expected.

No swim test as they've passed that. Just meeting the centre manager for an interview.

Trousers, shirt and tie. Shows he is taking it seriously. Just because the job involves wearing sports clothes doesnt mean the interview should.

Sorry I seem to have assumed they are male but hopefully you get the point.

I always go down the line that you'll never offend anyone by being too smart but you may by being too casual.
