Help someone has posted something with my Facebook account so it’s been locked & I’m now getting invoices for some ads they must be running & I can’t stop the ads as it won’t let me log in & I can’t let Facebook know for the same reason!
Any help would be appreciated

You need a friend to report your profile to Facebook, there is a section where they can type a reason why. It’s likely you’ve lost your page for good but it will stop the ads and disable the page.

Thanks for replying but it says the page is disabled & not visible so I don’t understand where the ads are running

Ahh ok, this happened with my dads page and it was disabled for 30 days and then deleted by Facebook, I assume the ads will stop after the 30 days is up?

So there’s no way to stop it then other than let it run for 30 days? Very frustrating

I just wrote a detailed post and lost it clicking away !!!!!!!!

Are the invoices real? They could be phishing attempts as Facebook/Meta charges up front for its advertising campaigns providing the invoices for accounting

Check your bank account, credit card etc to sure that you have not paid for Facebook/Meta advertising

Recover an account:

Appeal a disabled account:
m.facebook.com/help/103873106370583/?helpref=faq_content

Facebook advertising billing info:
facebook.com/ads/manager/billing

Change your email password and enable 2 factor authorisation etc

Usually a hacked Facebook account will have been reset and the related email account changed so that they take control, in which case you would not receive Facebook invoices - I’m inclined to say the invoices are fake, but if you’ve received them then the hacker would potentially have access to your account

Aw thank you @tommika I had a business account 10+ years ago linked to my personal account but all the credit cards & PayPal associated with it have been cancelled or destroyed so they wouldn’t be able to take any money I don’t think. I already had the 2 factor authentication enabled & received a password reset request the other day which I ignored so it looks like that has been bypassed somehow. I have done the appeal thing & still waiting for an answer so I think you’re right the email may have been hacked
