She's misery personified 😅 it was pointed out on here how awkward and poe faced she was and now I can't see anything but her reluctance.

What channel I can't find it @PangolinPie ?

PangolinPie · 27/02/2023 18:25

Bbc2

Richard Osman’s House of Games.

Xol · 27/02/2023 18:26

When she was on House of Games she was blatantly making minimal effort and couldn't be bothered even to put her hand on the buzzer. I do wonder sometimes why these programmes engage her.

Xol · 27/02/2023 18:27

Ah, I didn't see the post saying this was HoG!

BollocksToThem · 27/02/2023 18:27

Bugger must be regional, mines showing a programme about the sea

Hooklander · 27/02/2023 18:28

It's not Pointless and I just saw her smile. The others look equally emotioned tbh.

PangolinPie · 27/02/2023 18:29

Oops sorry I meant HOG

"it was pointed out on here how awkward and poe faced she was and now I can't see anything but her reluctance".

Well stop allowing what others point out to inform your own independent decision making process. She is iconic and a great beauty for my generation. Maybe, she is in her 50's now and like all of us older ladies in our 50's- we are true to ourselves. Do you bounce in to work everyday smiling relentlessly at 50+?

I would hope that a 'lady' in their 50s who was being paid to do a professional job would put a bit more effort and enthusiasm into it although I don't see what her age has to do with it.

You will when you are in your 50's.

Pleasebeafleabite · 27/02/2023 19:59

I am in my 50s, ragingly menopausal, and I still go to work every day with a professional, approachable and friendly manner. It’s really not that difficult and I find the whole I don’t take no shit now I’m in my 50s trope a bit tedious to be honest.

Tron80 · 27/02/2023 20:10

@Pleasebeafleabite 🥇

PangolinPie · 27/02/2023 20:47

@Tron80 how do you know I'm not already in my 50s? Anyway, you seem to be determined to take offence, so more power to your elbow.

I'm watching it now, is it a new edition or is it the one from a few years ago where she deliberately sat back and at one point said she would be speaking to her agent for booking her on it and I'm not sure she was joking! Miserable woman, spoiling one of my favourite programmes!

Actually, I do!

I'm 58, and I do the job I'm being paid for, which includes a smile and a greeting for my colleagues.

JudgeJ · 27/02/2023 21:10

Yes. it's the old one, 2020, and all I can say is that she gets worse as the week goes on, I'll have to find something else to watch!

BollocksToThem · 28/02/2023 18:09

Whoo whoo it's showing on BBC2 in my region tonight

watcherintherye · 28/02/2023 18:21

It’s got nothing to do with the fact that she isn’t constantly smiling. No-one expects that on HOG! It’s a competitive show and she makes absolutely no effort to even have her hand on the button, let alone try to answer. She really annoyed me when I saw it the first time and I can’t bear to watch it again. She got her appearance fee under false pretences.

TrashyPanda · 28/02/2023 18:23

I’m in my 50s and IMO the only iconic thing about her was her lack of acting ability and her affinity for marrying pop stars

BollocksToThem · 28/02/2023 18:27

Didn't she play a child in one of the fairy liquid adverts though @TrashyPanda ? That maybe her claim to fame Grin

It was Birds Eye peas advert.

Sweet as the moment as the pod went pop!

😁

I remember the pap pics of her kicking Liam Gallagher's car years ago. That's mostly what I remember Patsy Kensit for

LaChatte · 28/02/2023 18:30

''I'm going to kill my agent!'' 😂

BollocksToThem · 28/02/2023 18:34

Oh well done @Motnight ! [Grin] Did she do an enthusiastic 'pop' or was it a bit flaccid?
