What were these drinks called?

I remember them from the '90s. They were like squash in a rectangular shaped plastic container. I think sometimes you could buy them frozen?

Oh those! We used to buy them at roller skating when I was in Primary!

Jubblies were something different again. They were in those diamond pyramid shaped cartons.

We called the frozen Kwenchy Kups, jubblys or jubilees, in my part of Scotland.

i remember them. But I don’t remember them being called kwenchy cups. They were the kind of thing you got in school tuck shops. I remember them being pretty minging really.

If you went into a newsagent in my then area, a jubbly/jubilee was always a frozen Kwenchy Kup rather than the branded Jubblys that I think I saw almost exclusively in supermarkets.

B&M or home bargains do them, we got a couple of boxes of them when our nieces and nephews came tk visit.

Interesting to see that they're still available. I'm tempted to relive my childhood though it'll probably end in disappointment.

As soon as as I saw this thread I knew it would be kwenchy cups! Used to love the frozen raspberry ones.

My local Asda sometimes have them, got them a few years ago for my daughters birthday party. Unfortunately there were none left over for me to bring in the freezer.

Yeah we called frozen kwenchy cups jubblys when I was a child. Also Scotland.

I can taste the plastic now. Amazing. Somehow it managed to dry your mouth out despite being liquid.

Yup, frozen kwenchy kups were jubilees in Glasgow. I'm sure we had done that were circular cross-section too, rather than square, different brand - might well by calypso.
