Girls leggings!

Does anyone know where you can get packs of girls leggings that are all patterned?

Total first world problem, but dd has had a growth spurt and I need to get some, but all the multi packs come with a pair or two in plain or totally impractical colours like white or pale pink etc, which then never get worn due to the fear of being instantly destroyed and therefore a waste of money!!

Any ideas? That won't break the bank...

My Dc sounds like yours, In that the pale colours and plain ones ( unless black or navy) are ruined almost straight away!
Ive found poundland ( Pep and co clothing brand) do cheap colourful, patterns. I also use Primark and Asda.

See, I've spent all evening hunting on those websites and all of them come with at least one bloody impractical coloured pair!!! Actually fairly few patterned ones around at the moment... will give Tesco a try later in the week, but haven't been impressed with their offerings lately either.

Although... maybe there is a business opportunity here!!

How do they get ruined if pale? I manage to get stains out of clothes - holes aren't so easy to fix. Last week one pair was covered in pasta sauce- again! I like pale and white ones as my girls wear them with dresses instead of tights.

Amazon. Lots of different patterns on there. You just pick what ones you like.

Show inevitable stains from food/mud more than plain colours. That said my DD goes through the knees of practical colours as quick as the light colours get manky looking!

Mud and pen are worse to get out of light colours, food generally gives in ok but even supposedly washable pens can stain. Mud gets well ground into the knees.

How? How do you get mud stains out?!? I never knew mud stained til I had kids! Other stains I can manage without too much effort, but mud just stays.

Lucy locket loves, great patterns and much better quality than super market. About 12quid a pair but always some in the sale. (Great adult leggings too)

I used to get leggings from Lands End. Good quality and colours - they often offer multibuy bundles where you pick your preferred colours/patterns.

Dr Beckman is good for pen although I have found most kids felt tips come out with a long soak in cool water ( the sooner the better and maybe add some washing up liquid). Mud marks do generally come out with a pre-soak and a scrub with a vanish bar/before washing (sometimes twice). I've has the most problem with grease marks on black leggings especially if I haven't realised before washing. At least with white leggings you can't destroy the colour by soaking and scrubbing.

M&S - if you don’t like the multipack options (tho I think there’s some pretty bright multipacks!) a selection of individual pairs are 3 for 2. Nice quality too.

DD1 has some from John Lewis that were all patterned. H&M also had single pairs on a multibuy last time I was in there (admittedly a while ago). They all had different patterns as well as the base colour being darker.

I agree, the shadow of mud never comes out of the knees and bums of pale leggings!

I usually get them from m&s 3 for 2 (not multipacks) now as they are very good value at £6 or £8 each. Much better quality than supermarket multipacks and nice patterns usually. Remember your pain from when my girls were very young though and all the white leggings 😩

M&S has come to the rescue! Thanks, had totally forgotten the 3 for 2 offer...

In answer to the question, why are pales so bad? Dd is a doer, not a thinker, plus I am a lone parent who works full time so literally got neither the energy nor the inclination to be getting stains out.

On a separate note, just sneakily been through her wardrobe and if anyone wants seven (yes SEVEN!!!) pairs of mostly unworn pale leggings in 4-5, let me know!!!!

M&S plain packs of leggings may be in the school uniform range. I got DD a 5 pack of navy leggings the other week.
