Hairband storage.. For those organised folk

Currently dd age 4 has 2 drawers full of hair elastics, bows for everyday. Bows for school. Clips, scrunchies headbands etc

Due to decorating and new furniture we'll be losing drawers but gain wardrobe space.

Has anyone got something like this for their dd or themselves? Thinking 2 for each wardrobe door (4 total) for everything bar the headbands.

Would this work

And yes im sad but i like things organised, it won't get wrecked as bedroom isnt used for play. Just chill and bed as have a playroom. So its not like ill be forever re sorting it.

We use either these or these to organise drawers. Both have been good for little bits.

Oh, totally misread the bit about it being for a wardrobe door. Sorry.

Having to clip clips on would drive me mad actually. But you know what you can tolerate. 😁

I use one of these for hair bands and hair accessories: iDesign 69990EU Headband & Hair Accessory Holder, Clear amzn.eu/d/0vuv0Zb

I completely misread the title of this - I thought it said husband storage 😯😂

I made DD some ribbon in frames: just cheap deep IKEA frames with ribbon nailed across. I sewed some loops in first so I can clip on clips and bows and loop through Alice bands. I then nailed on some ribbon loops on the bottom and added carabineers for small bands. As her selection changed, I put shower curtain rings through some of the loops for more hairbands. Unfortunately scrunchies don't fit and have always been in a drawer.
These frames are hung on the wall, but could just as easily have been hung on a wardrobe door. I chose the frame sizes specifically for the wall I wanted them to hang on.

Thank you
@DorotheaFrazil its ok there's a nice space under the patio i can store him haha

The clips on show would drive me mad but i was thinking for inside the doors.

Ill look now at the other suggestions

@Underadandelion unfortunately she'd need about 15 of these. And ideally need something to hang

@WeCome1 love the dividers. Just ordered for socks and tights.

I use a metal tea cup holder for my stuff like that

ItsOKToFeelProud · 26/02/2023 23:08

Good idea. But i need it out of sight too. Mega fussy, plus not much side space in there
