DIY planning application - elevation drawings?

I'm doiing a DIY planning application and need to submit elevation drawings to 1:100 or 1:200 scale. I was thinking of doing them in a standard basic drawing package, such as Visio as I don't have anything fancier. Anyone know whether this will be an issue?

I did them in Visio. Hoping that will be ok - they looked good to me, but let's see. I've submitted them for pre-application advice, so i'm hoping to find out soon.
