Friday night cooked stir fry. Chicken, veg, noodles and sauce. It was cooled and put in Tupperware in fridge, will it be okay to have for lunch tomorrow do you reckon?!

I would, but I'm a bit reckless with leftovers. We've also got some chicken stuff fry in the fridge from Thursday. DH will prob take it for lunch tomorrow and nuke it in the microwave.

It'll be fine. Also, stir fry (warmed through) makes a fabulous sandwich filling

soleilblue · 26/02/2023 15:47

Yes though I'd eat it tonight personally

Ah it's roast lamb tonight! I'll take it tomorrow, it'll be fine.

Why are people so afraid of perfectly good food?

Bekindbekind · 26/02/2023 15:54

Should be fine. Rice I’d be more cautious about but I don’t see a problem here.

Sarahcoggles · 26/02/2023 15:55

I'd eat it but I wouldn't give it to my kids. I have a 48 hour rule for them, not sure why, but I'm much more slapdash with myself

Of course. Leftovers generally get better the next day.
