Sainsbury's mince

Delivery has just arrived and the mince has gone straight back. They've reduced the plastic in the packaging which is great but it just looked revolting. Brown and oxidised and I just know I wouldn't have eaten it.

Did I get a dodgy pack or are they all like that now?

I didnt particularly notice the colour but I did find it was so squashed it didn't separate well on cooking. I wasn't so keen on the texture. Maybe it would be better to separate it by hand before cooking rather than in the pan.

It's very odd. But it could sometimes be brown looking in the old packaging as well.

I took these photos last week in Sainsbury's OP, agreed they don't look great

Blimey, haven't seen this before. Normally buy 1kg pack of mince from Sainsbury’s, but haven't bought recently because been buying Costco, which obviously was so much better.

That does look particularly unappealing
