What are we doing today?

I love these threads on a Sunday morning and haven't seen one yet so starting my own!

Currently laying in bed scrolling MN while dh is up with the baby. Ds11 is in bed on a screen. Once we're all up and fed we will take the dogs out for a walk. Later we'll see family and maybe have a trundle to the local pub for a roast. Can't be bothered to cook today. Would like to get a few chapters of my book read and maybe a quick yoga class online once the dc are in bed tonight. Sundays just feel like such a lazy treat after a manic week of duties and obligations.

Morning. I'm sat on the sofa drinking my first coffee. Dh has F1 documentary on. Ds13 upstairs getting ready for football match which DH is taking him to in about 40mins. DS10 is still asleep.

Will be a chilled out day. DH and kids sorting out bikes this pm as going on forest bike ride next weekend. I need to finish off an assignment for my degree. Dinner will be a beef casserole in the slow cooker. All school uniforms are washed and ironed.

We are going to church this morning and then we have ingredients for a roast dinner this afternoon. I always have a few Sunday chores to do but I can relax a little more today as DH is off on holiday all week so can do more in the week.

Today in Scotland its all about the football.

Was going to take kids to the park this morning but it's not a very nice day and I don't feel well. So maybe not.

A wee house day I think.

Having a lay in after being up with the baby. DH entertaining baby and DS2 downstairs. Taking kids to play centre later and the park. Need to remortgage the house to go and do a food shop Confused

I'm normally at work by now (only had three Sundays I could choose to take off this year, so a rarity to be off). I got up about 30 mins ago, still in pjs and about to have shower.

The plan is for us to walk up the hill and we have a table booked for lunch which has brilliant views. DH did half suggest we went to get some more fish instead (I don't mind as I like looking around where they are), but obviously need to decide soon as we've got a table booked (luckily place is a hotel so we can cancel early).

DP gone to the gym, I’m scrolling in bed. When he gets back we’re driving up to Lake Windermere for the day then coming home for a roast.

Youngest ds has a football match this morning, then walk the dogs. Later on we are debating going to the local club to watch the Newcastle match.

All going to watch DS7 in a football match, then I’m going out for lunch with 2 friends. Will most likely sit on sofa tonight although need to exercise. Kids reading, spellings etc.

Toddler woke up earlier than usual today so we got up and had breakfast. DH offered to take over so I can go back to bed. Been scrolling MN for an hour Blush. Now off to clean the house and prep for lunch as I have friends coming over later. It's the first time they'll be over since we moved into new house. And actually the first time I've cooked for them! Hoping it pans out. Then later a family member has offered to pick up DC and take them to theirs, so I plan to start reading my new book for a new diploma which I'll be starting soon. Hope it will be a good day Smile

Lazy Sunday morning here; the baby and DS1 are still sleeping. DD & DS2 are doing Lego in DDS room. I’m in bed with a coffee and DH has gone to pick up breakfast.

We will aim to be out for 12 for swimming and then come home for a big roast dinner which will be followed by a walk. Sunday night is always movie night after baths and while dinner is cooking I’ll get uniforms ready for the week.

Just having a mug of tea that DH brought me in bed and watching a gardening programme. He’s going out on his bike. Adult DDs are moved out or away this weekend. We will take a long walk with the dog somewhere that starts and ends by a pub then come home and cook together . Tonight we are finishing off Happy Valley s3 ep 5&6!🙂

Oh I love these threads.

DH has taken DD to a tennis lesson so I’ve gotten back into bed to read my book, I’ll have a bath in a bit and a potter.

Then when they are back we’ll either go for a walk and take a snacky lunch. Later a bit of homework for everyone and episode 2 of The Last of Us when DD’s in bed. We’ve had a mad 2 weeks so relishing a chilled day with no expectations.

Emdubz love the thought of driving to Lake Windermere for the day .. we are off to the Lakes for a week's holiday in a fortnight and I am so looking forward to it. Smile

My Sundays are usually the same, Church in the morning and then meet my elderly DM for a coffee .. sometimes we go to a garden centre or cafe. Lazy afternoon at home doing a few chores or possibly going for a walk and then cooking a roast for tonight. DH out playing golf. And then Endeavor on tv !!

Sat on the couch with DD while she "does" a sticker book and I drink coffee to try to become human. DP snoozing upstairs. No idea what the day will entail - had talked about a walk to a pub but feeling rotten with ongoing pain under ribcage and possible UTI 🙄

I feel like I'm on a roll this morning. Have already caught up on the course I am doing. Have also showered dried and straightened thick hair.

Will head out in an hour to take DS to rugby.

Gonna look round the shops for some new jeans, hopefuly I can find something that makes me look less awful (as per S&B thread this morning middle age women look awful).

Might head to the nearest big town later and pick up some baking decorations.

Will do a roast chicken dinner and watch dancing on ice tonight.

Morning. Back to the town after lovely rural get away with mate. Instead of feeling sorry for myself about the crap in my life,I'm going to shift my ass and drive to a nice spot for a walk before cimjng back,polishing my tatty shoes,packing my work bag and having a go at making myself some scones. Have a good day every one

DH is making me breakfast in bed while I scroll MN. After we will get ready then go to in-laws for a nice Sunday roast dinner and to collect our DC who stayed there last night. Then back home ready for food shop being delivered. Get ready and organised for school tomorrow and will most likely play some board games with DC then have a light snack and watch a movie.

Hope you have a great holiday in the Lakes! We are going to put the car on the ferry to go across the lake because every time we drive past we see other people doing it 😂 Small pleasures!

Heading to ikea, walk with the dog and then the long drive home after visiting the family. If we leave by 4pm we will be home by 10/11pm!

Good morning everyone. We are all getting back to normal after a virus of sorts this week. I'm taking my teen to the gym and then we are going as a family to the sports centre with the younger DCs. One DC needs new shoes so that will be squeezed in. I need to get some rest in however as a routine blood pressure check flagged up some possible heart issues, which means going to see the GP. I like the idea of reading a book as others mentioned.
