Nothing I do makes a difference. The hard, crusty skin just returns if I slice it off.

Have you ever seen a chiropodist?

Saltywalruss · 25/02/2023 20:03

Looks like a normal foot!

Greensleevevssnotnose · 25/02/2023 20:05

Looks normal to me, but I'm always cutting mine off too

userxx · 25/02/2023 20:05

CCS cream will sort them out.

Woahhohoho · 25/02/2023 20:09

Footner!!! (Once the sore bits have healed).

Rebel2 · 25/02/2023 20:16

I use a microplane foot file on dry feet weekly
Then in the shower use exfoliating gloves and soap daily
At night apply a foot cream with urea and put socks on until it's absorbed

But I have to keep up with it or my feet get dry!

greenacrylicpaint · 25/02/2023 20:19

looks like your footwear isn't right for you.

try other styles and sizes.
do the thing you do when testing a toddller's shoe for size on your own feet.

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 25/02/2023 20:23

I would see a chiropodist.

That Footner stuff makes your skin peel off in the short term, but it just comes back again.

Twinedpeaks · 25/02/2023 20:25

Leave your feet alone!!!! No slicing, no foot we.

Hard skin develops because those points of your feet need protection.

Xrays · 25/02/2023 20:26

Are you wearing socks and supportive / comfortable footwear?

BrianWankum · 25/02/2023 20:27

Flexitol heel balm.

freelancescientist · 25/02/2023 21:34

My feet look a bit like that and apparently it’s athlete’s foot. I visit a podiatrist and she’s recommended antifungal cream.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 25/02/2023 21:58

CCS cream will sort your feet out
Check your shoes have enough width for your toes too

MaidOfSteel · 25/02/2023 22:11

Mine looked a bit like that when I first started getting Psoriasis.
Might be worth a visit to your GP if you've tried the usual stuff; Flexitol, pumice stone etc.

GettingItOutThere · 25/02/2023 22:18

stop slicing it!

get some dermatonics/ccs cream anything on every single day. go see a good podiatrist

Spidey66 · 28/02/2023 08:59

Another vote for Flexitol

BertHandsome · 28/02/2023 09:08

Another vote for flexitol. Even after 1 use my feet went from looking like a shedding snake to normal.

CatOnTheChair · 28/02/2023 09:22

Those cracks look SORE.
I'd stop slicing, start moisturize intensively, and maybe add some antifungal stuff in.
Your feet also look folded in - are your shoes wide enough?

feelinglikeanewparent · 28/02/2023 09:31

Boots dry and cracked foot softener cream. They'll improve overnight. I swear by it!
