Hi, I'm really not very good at it.

We would like a uk holiday with the following criteria

-Reasonable driving distance from Manchester (so not Cornwall or Edinburgh for examole)
-Self catering
-cottage type or whole house
-things to do, walks, touristy stuff, beach nearby.
-available for a week from Friday 14th or Sat 15th
-3 adults, 3 kids.

Budget? Which month? What's the bedroom set up like?

How far to Nothumberland? Thats my favourite place in the UK. Castles, forests, lakes, beaches, its so beautiful.

We would need at least 3 bedrooms, ideally 4.

Try searching hoseasons and/ or sykes cottages. We love North Wales, plenty of stuff to do, close to Manchester

How long would you want to drive for and what's the budget?

Maybe 3 hours max.

I'm hoping someone can recommend somewhere they've been.

So I know there's stuff to do locally and we won't be in the middle of nowhere

I'm looking around that area.

There's lots in Benllech! We're near Manchester and often head over there
