World Book Day- Help!!

Wondering if the MN brain might help me! World Book Day at my 8 year old's school this year needs her to make a prop for a book character. We have literally got today to do this! Any genius ideas???

Cardboard, foil - sword or helmet, almost any fairytale/Potteresque type book. Add jewels made of cardboard painted.

Disclosure - I'm a grandma and don't remember ever having to do this kind of shizzle.

Se something you already have and dont overcomplicate it.
Can you make a wand out of a stick? Worst witch/ Harry potter character
Make a doctors bag out of an old handbag? Add a princess dress and she's Princess Pearl from Zog.
Picnic basket. Red cloak? Little Red Riding Hood

A broom/ cauldron / wand for a witch or wizard? Picnic for the famous 5? Bandages for Mr Bump?

Well what books do they like? Eg if Harry Potter just make a wand or hat? Diary of a Wimpy Kid - make a diary etc from a few pieces of paper folded in half with diary written on the front and the name of some days inside. That kind of thing?

She wants to do Hetty Feather- I thought in my head that she had a necklace or a locket or some such that we could make but can't see any mention of it?? Wondering about a circus ticket for Hetty Feather when she becomes a performer but is that rubbish??
