If you google the word Mumsnet and your username what do you see? ....

If it's a long list of threads going back in time, with lots of titbits of personal information that could be pieced together to identify you, you might want to think about changing your username more regularly. (Easy to do in account settings).

If not, then no worries. 🙂

Fortunately I change names quite a bit, though I do keep this one for Telly Addicts as some threads there are very long running so there wasn't too much, just over a page, though it's a bit scary that it is all so conveniently together

I did this a while ago and was horrified to see all my kids names, my dogs names, their school etc! A quick message to MNHQ got it all removed.

Thanks for the reminder, I hadn't changed my name for a while.
