That Coronation street is named after the Queen's coronation. Haven't ever thought about it and just thought it was an unusual street name.

Coronation Street as a name is way older than the TV show. The one where I grew up were Victorian terraces.

Apparently they were going to call it Florizel Street, but someone said it sounded like a brand of disinfectant. 😂

There is a Coronation Road near where I live I don't think it was named after the late Queen. It is older than that and I think it's quite a common street name.

It's just a generic street name, there have been many coronations over the centuries. It wasn't named after a particular coronation as it's a made up street...
