Has anyone here ever successfully raised a complaint with Lex? When I say "successfully" I don't mean that the complaint was necessarily resolved in your favour - I mean that the complaint was raised, considered in the appropriate time frame (8 weeks), and a substantive response received? I raised a complaint with them in November. It's impossible to reach the person dealing with the complaint by phone, and no-one else is willing/able to help on the phone.
Occasionally, I get a random automated response from them stating, "We're still looking into your concerns, and we'll be in touch when we have an update for you. This may take up to 8 weeks from the date we received your complaint.
If you have any more evidence you'd like us to consider, please call us on 0800 0684025 option 2." Considering more than 8 weeks has ALREADY elapsed, and that the complaint handler concerned is never available on the phone, this isn't particularly helpful.
Any words of wisdom / advice on helpful contacts at Lex, or the correct way to escalate this elsewhere? Thank you, Mumsnet.
