A small thing that made you happy recently

I have always hated tights. My legs are longer than average, although I am only 5 ft 6. I have always found they are too short and slip down and the area around the toes always comes apart.

ureka! Footless tights which I can pull up and then wear with socks and boots if it is cold, or wear them with a dress, they look ok. Now I have found a company who do such tights in lovely bright colours and a good size range. Where have they been all my life!

Every morning my 11yo at Secondary school, sets her alarm 10 minutes early so we can have a cuddle before breakfast etc.

Another small thing, but perhaps it’s big too, my little 18 month grandson who I have gradually been looking after once a week, I say gradually because his dad is there too working from home. Today my DGS held his arms out for me to pick him up! I’ve been regarded with slight suspicion up till now. He is a daddy’s boy though and follows him like a Tiny shadow. I have a wonderful relationship with his sister, who I adore and hope to build one up with him too. X

Flare calmer ear buds. Total game changer for living next to noisy tears and in a town. Bought day and night pairs. Night pairs mean I actually get 8 solid hours of pure uninterrupted sleep, yet can still hear my alarm.

One of my customers today took my call and said she loves getting calls from me as I always make her laugh whilst I get the job done. She said she looks forward to our weekly calls. Small things but I'm glad she told me.
