Half a pizza each so 5 pizzas maybe 6 (depending on size obv). A few bottles of pop and maybe look up non alcohol cocktails if you want to be super popular. Add in crisps, nuts, fruit and some chocolate.

KindergartenKop · 23/02/2023 08:13

You also need garlic bread :)

Katsucurrysauce · 23/02/2023 08:25

For 6 children (aged 10) we bought 5 pizzas, two of them large, plus chicken wings and wedges. They demolished the lot.

HowToExplainRight · 23/02/2023 08:32

You also need garlic bread :)
with pizza???

pizzas are 23cm diameter (390g). I was going to get plain Tom/mozzarella and let them add stuff.

there will be popcorn and cake too.

Don't forget the ice cream! 🍧 🍧 🍧 🍧 🍧 🍧

PacificallyRequested · 23/02/2023 08:34

Er yes, garlic bread is a common thing to have with pizza! You'll need at least 2 baguettes for that number of people.

Springintoabetterlife · 23/02/2023 08:35

23 cm size they will need one each.

Seeline · 23/02/2023 08:37

Is this a party?
Straight from school?
Time of day?

13 yo can eat a lot. So if you've got more of them than 10yo I'd reckon around a pizza each.
Some fizzy drinks and some juice.
Ice-cream

Assuming no allergies, vegetarian or vegan diets.

Hmmthatsgoodchicken · 23/02/2023 08:38

I would get 4 or 5 pizzas and 2 garlic bread pizzas and chips or wedges

I guarantee there will be 1 child who doesn't like things on pizza so I would leave 1 pizza as just cheese. 😊

Katsucurrysauce · 23/02/2023 08:38

At 23 can they will need one each as that is pretty small!

Garlic bread is normal with pizza!

Katsucurrysauce · 23/02/2023 08:39

*23cm

StaceySolomonSwash · 23/02/2023 08:40

Wedges are good with pizza too. Serve with mayo, ketchup, sweet chilli sauce for dipping.

DeathMetalMum · 23/02/2023 08:42

One each and then at least 4 garlic bread/baguettes. Some people will want more than a slice of garlic bread (several pieces in my experience) so two won't be enough.

NoDairyNoProblem · 23/02/2023 08:43

Given the amount kids eat I would go for one pizza each if no major sides with veg sticks, fruit, popcorn, crisps, cake and juice.

I would personally do 8 pizzas (1/2 cheese- 1/2mix of toppings), chips or potato wedges, chicken strips, veg sticks, strawberries, popcorn, crisps, chocolate buttons, cake and juice.

DD and her friends are bottomless pits!

Where are the pizzas from? A large domino is very different to a supermarket one for example

NoDairyNoProblem · 23/02/2023 08:45

Sorry should have said 7 pizzas.

rainbowunicorn · 23/02/2023 09:10

23cm pizza is pretty small so I would do probably 7 pizzas a mix of pepperoni, plain cheese and maybe some chicken. I would add either 2 packs of garlic bread slices which usually come in packs of 10 or 2 garlic baguettes. Provably some wedges or fries and plenty of little dipping sauces.

Aphrathestorm · 23/02/2023 09:11

6 pizzas and 4 2L bottles of juice.

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 23/02/2023 09:12

From experience they eat twice as much Dominos as supermarket pizza.

Bard6817 · 23/02/2023 09:15

You also need lots of ibroprophen. For yourself.

HowToExplainRight · 23/02/2023 09:54

😂I'd be going for the wine if I didn't have to take one of the girls home!

I have genuinely never heard of or seen pizza served with chips/garlic bread/wedges.

@Seeline yes, party straight from school. 7 10-11 year olds, one 12 and one 13 year old. Then there's my 13 year old DS who would clean out the kitchen given a
chance!

I'm assuming the parents will let me know if there are any special dietary requirements?

It comes with wedges when you order from Domino's and those type of American chains.

Even when i was a kid and we went for an Italian we had garlic bread but I don't think it's very Italian 😂

I hated garlic bread at parties as it makes everyone's breath smell yuk, but maybe that's just me!

JimBobbin · 23/02/2023 10:03

I would think one pizza each and no garlic bread. But unless you have oven space for 9 pizzas, it would be easier to get bigger ones eg Asda deli counter ones. Much cheaper than Domino's and you can cook them all at once.
