Meniscus surgery recovery

Had surgery couple of days ago and am in full brace and crutches. Pretty uncomfortable. Anyone with experience of this let me know about your recovery? Have been told no driving for 6 weeks which was a shock! Thank you x

I had meniscus repair and ACL reconstruction surgery 10 days ago. I’m not really using any pain relief anymore just my cryo cuff and the occasional paracetamol. I’m finding the brace gets uncomfortable as my leg is changing shape. It’s such a pain not being able to drive!! I can get about a bit more easily now that before the surgery as I couldn’t weight bear on the bad leg at all and now I’m allowed to.

How are you getting on? How did you injure it? Mine was a skiing accident.

Hey flying! Thanks for responding. I am on day 4 (I think?!) Definitely needing less pain relief and am more mobile on crutches. I hate the leg brace! Yes so annoying about driving. Im going a bit stir crazy.
joint still feels really stiff like nowhere near the range of movement yet.
did mine squatting.
