using airbnb to rent a room?

anybody do this? I thought it might help to bring in a small extra income. And it would force me to keep my house immaculate.
But maybe it's too much hassle.

This was the whole original premise of AirBnB. So why not? I suppose it depends if you're in an area where there is a market for it. I have colleagues who rent rooms in the week for work in total non-tourist areas though.

Yep, it's generally pretty good. I've done it for years. Now limit stays to one night at a time as I don't want anyone here in the day. This suits me as I don't need to make loads of money from it and a few nights a month is just the extra income I need.
