If you have a chill day, what do you like to do?

My chill day is taking the kids to school, going for a walk, enjoying (too many) coffees and lazily tidying up. I even enjoy walking round asda doing my food shop- im that weird!

I do housework as soon as back from nursery run.
Then coffee and chill. I make the most of peace and quiet.

I also enjoy going to Asda on a Friday, on my own😂

WentForAWalk · 22/02/2023 20:42

On a chill day, I do absolutely nothing.

Xrays · 22/02/2023 20:43

Going for a long walk, having a coffee on my own in a nice coffee shop somewhere, watching some sort of true crime thing on Tv.

Miscellaneousme · 22/02/2023 20:44

In bed watching TV with the curtains shut. And maybe a nap. Bliss.

Haha I just love looking at groceries for some reason, I find it so enjoyable- yet I'm
a crap cook so it's never very productive lol

My friend literally spends her chill day in bed watching tv /reading - I personally would hate that but appreciate that everyone chills differently.

I have a chill day tomorrow and I think I may even mix it up and go to tesco
Cause I'm rock n roll 🤪

These all sound great. I even love putting my sweaty Betty leggings On- the delight of not wearing tight uncomfortable clothes is also glorious

I don't go to the supermarket! That is the opposite of 'chill' for me! I put the fire on, drink tea, read, nap, eat toast, watch undemanding telly.

HelloBunny · 22/02/2023 20:49

I never chill at home as I’ll end up cleaning. Sitting down isn’t a thing for me! But, I like a ramble around a department store / nice shopping spot, with time for tea & cake, when I can get it. Or going to the cinema by myself. With popcorn & a Magnum!

whatstheanswerplease · 22/02/2023 20:49

@Hoolihan I completely understand- I really am just plain weird. I'll def chill with a massive doughnut when I get home. Think I'll look watch the documentary that's been on about autism. It makes a change from horrid Henry 🤦‍♀️

A walk or run, leisurely coffee - either home or out. Mines like yours OP but rather than a mooch round Asda once every couple of months I go for a mooch round the shopping centre just browsing and taking my time rather than the usual mad dash for some item of clothing one of the kids needs.
In the summer I'd do a bit of gardening followed by reading/sunbathing.
I wish I had more chill days as I have so much chilling to cram in when I do get one 🤣

countvoncount · 22/02/2023 20:57

I stay in bed. All day.
Rise for cups of tea and snacks.
If feeling energetic I shower around 4pm, it's bliss.

Mine would include a lovely long bath and a bit of self pampering.

illiterato · 22/02/2023 21:25

Garden centre. Middle aged and proud.

BarrelOfOtters · 22/02/2023 21:30

Garden centre. Garden. Greenhouse. Garden.allotment. Monothematic but chilled.

Cococomellonn · 22/02/2023 21:36

In my head it would be to sit on the sofa, cosy in a blanket watching netflix but in reality I think I feel better doing something so I honestly don't know but I have thought about it as I have a young DC in nursery. I have gone for a workout and a massage alone.

Itsonlyagame · 22/02/2023 21:52
