Irritating Colleagues

She won't do her own legwork and expects to have everything spoon fed to her. She also tries to pass off everything she can to other people and she's starting to irritate me now.

Before she started I was doing 3x the workload she has now, she's taken over 3 tasks, that I was doing for 2 departments, she's only doing it for one department, plus I had all the other stuff I was doing and managing 2x the number of platforms that she is using.

Every time its suggested she take on a task, she suggests a way to palm it off elsewhere 😂and she even told our MD an outright no when asked to keep a document updated.

I don't know whether this is being noted by superiors, and I won't report anything because eventually we will be very separate and they will pick up on it in time if they think it's an issue.

At every point that she asks me to hand things to her on a plate I direct her to where she can get it or find out for herself but even that is getting on my nerves now 😡

Can't stand lazy colleagues!

Feel your pain. I’ve worked in many organisations including NHS and Local Authorities and they’re everywhere.

I can believe that. In my previous niche sector, you usually work alone, so didn't get this, but now I'm in a more normal setting, some people really are unbelievable!
