Just wondering if anyone has any useful advice or expertise. A week ago I came off my bicycle and hurt my arm. At hospital the next day they x-rayed my wrist and my elbow and decided that I probably had a fracture in my upper arm (they couldn't see very well because of swelling). Since then I've had my arm in a sling (no splint or cast).
Over the last week my upper arm has felt gradually better, But the upper part of my lower arm continues to hurt quite a bit, particularly when I twist it (imagine turning a key). At no stage has any part of my arm been acutely tender when I press it.
Does it sound as if I could have a fracture in the part of the arm they didn't X-ray? Or could this pain just be due to the upper arm injury?
I'm home alone with kids for the rest of this week, and I could do without an unnecessary trip to hospital!
