Emergency! No eggs for pancakes

I just ate the last egg boiled for my dinner.

How do I make pancakes without an egg?

I've just googled vegan pancakes but the batter needs to sit in the fridge overnight? Surely not?

Can I just give them tortilla wraps with Nutella? Will they notice?

Chia seeds would work. As would flax. Or even aquafaba (chickpea liquid).

Banana works pretty well to bind it together. Or basic veggie oil.

I will trade you eggs for flour 😂 I have too many eggs and forgot to get flour in the last shop, omlettes it is!

Same position here. So I'm pondering...

Maybe just go and get some eggs.

Or have pancakes tomorrow instead.

The thought of having a tortilla or gloopy chia seed weirdness is a bit disappointing for me!

Egg free and dairy free but needs bananas:

Deff this. Or swear blind that you have pancakes on Shrove Wednesday.

far better than faffing about with chickpeas.

Use aqua faba? I don't think you have to leave it to stand? www.seriouseats.com/vegan-aquafaba-pancake-recipe

My DS 7 told me this joke this morning

i literally just remembered it’s pancake day it has crêpe’d up on me

seems fitting, I was too slow and only got a single pancake to the kids three.

I'm making banana pancakes right now, the kids used to love them when they were small.
