Anyone ever had a reply on twitter or instagram from a Strictly dancer?

Hello, my DD is a primary teacher and her school has a yearly dancing competition loosely based on strictly. We were talking and thinking it would be great for the kids to get a message of encouragement from one or more of the strictly professionals or judges for this years competition.

Has anyone ever had a reply from any of the strictly pros on twitter or insta and if so any tips as to how to go about it? I do follow quite a few of them already.

All you can do is ask.

Usually they will have their agent's details on their insta bios. You'll have more luck going via them.

Just DM them on Instagram. I'd go for someone like Alijaz & Janette as they both seem to love kids and are now of course expecting.

Also, Anton might be a good one too.

AJ and Curtis Pritchard are usually pretty good! They're doing some charity stuff with a school near us I think

But Anton I met very briefly at a function and he is ‘lovely’. Honestly, I’ve met a few famous people and he ranks up there with the best. I’d give him a shout out - and ask if he’d do something. Don’t be a stan though.

The worst, Dame Kelly Holmes. Consistently awfull towards kids in the running clubs. No idea how she got ‘dame’ when she is just so awfull a person. We have a family friend who is now an Olympian and a regular at Diamon League, DKH used to blank her, Til she won her European titles, then it was all best friends.

Try searching on the website or app Cameo to see if any of the pros have accounts on there. You have to pay but they’ll send you a message in rheee about anything you like. Tonnes of celebs do.
