Just looking around for a new (secondhand) car and I've seen one or two which are advertised on Autotreader as Japanese imports and I was just wondering why?
I get that there are probably Hondas, Nissans, Mazdas etc that are produced for the home market and not exported but several of these seemed to be European models - eg VW Golfs, Volvos etc - which appear to be the same as others that are for sale. In many cases the Japanese imports are cheaper than equivalents.
Surely its not worth exporting stuff to Japan only to bring it back to Europe?
