What should I do? I am working from home but no meetings so I might get back into pjs!

What would you do?
What would you eat?
I have lots of boring jobs but don't really want to do those. Never been home on my own, it's lovely!

I would eat all the snacks and lots of cups of tea. X

YukoandHiro · 20/02/2023 14:26

Read. Watch tv. Eat amazing food. Have a beer or a nice glass of wine. Go to bed early and have a lay in.

cheeseisthebest · 20/02/2023 14:30

What food would you have?

The loveliest bit is no one talking me, bliss!

Wondering if I should get all my work out the way so I can relax.

I love cooking but I spend loads of time cooking usually so if I was alone I'd go for simple food. Maybe cheese on toast or nice cheeses, breads, chutneys etc. Or I might just get a take away! Definitely a couple of glasses of wine.
I'd watch films, read, lounge around, go for a walk, have a lie in. Bliss! Enjoy.

Arthurflecksfacepaint · 20/02/2023 14:52

I would Sit in silence in a tidy house knowing no one was going to shout my name or make a mess.

OhNoNotThatAgain · 20/02/2023 14:53

Pizza? A book? Lounge about doing nothing?

WhichOneOfYasHasHadAShit · 20/02/2023 14:55

Hot bath
Takeaway
Blanket on the sofa
Binge a series/film

BooCrew · 20/02/2023 14:58

You've never been at home on your own? 😳I would have lost my mind a long time ago.

If you're working at home presumably you're working most of the day, so you just have this evening to yourself. Cook yourself something delicious or order a takeaway, have a bath and watch something you like. Maybe go for a walk and enjoy knowing that no-one knows where you are.

rowlandellis · 20/02/2023 14:59

Ha, I live alone so this is my daily life. Makes me more appreciative hearing how much others savour this! I suggest a lovely bath, a book and a takeaway ☺️

rexythedinosaur · 20/02/2023 14:59

Get your work out of the way.

Boring, I know.

But having worked from home for 3 years now and been through the whole 'I can work in my PJ's' cycle... it's honestly less depressing to just do your work and then relax!

cheeseisthebest · 20/02/2023 15:00

I've been home on my own loads but not overnight, if my husband is away kids are usually home but he's away and kids both have sleepovers.
