Hello, has anyone used this private healthcare company? Apparently you can get a full body health check and access to a GP for a whole year for a one off payment of £150. Sounds too good to be true! Looking for feedback before I sign up. Thank you xxx

My dad has just taken Bluecrest "Male Cancer Risk + Complete" for £399
Complete here refers to the separately purchasable heart risk plan.

The tests took only 20 minutes.
Some of you will already be thinking not much time for the money but there is more. The tests were carried out in a hotel by a technician who is therefore unable to give much feedback. You wait 4 weeks for full results.
The tests were
Various blood tests including for heart, liver and kidney function.
Blood pressure on both an arm and a leg at the same time.
ECG (looks for irregular heart beat)
Weight and height.
Also included is a discussion of results with a doctor on the phone.
(Doctor not necessarily a specialist).

At the appointment he was offer an extra heart test for £89.
We now know the plac test is not approved in the Uk but is in the USA.
He already paid for a "Complete' heart test so how would you characterise the extra test and charge?

The extra test is just another blood test.

thanks for any comments,

Beata
