Hi,

Looking for opinions on the tuppence and crumble star wraps. Did anyone use them for their newborn?
They look quite big but I love the idea of them. If so.. what size did you go for?

I loved the idea of them and they do look super cute but in the end didn’t get much use out of them - threw them on if we were just nipping around to the neighbours or the corner shop, ie a 2 minute walk where it wasn’t worth getting fully wrapped up.

Got the smaller size (from eBay) which was still quite big on my 8 and a half lb newborn and a larger one which was no use as by that time it fitted they were walking.

I have a 9 month old and only discovered the wrap recently. I bought a size bigger so my dd could get use out of it. It’s really big so I kind of wish I’d gone for the smaller size. I love it, handy for the car seat and great for just transferring her into the pram or for me to carry her and keep her warm. If I have another baby then I’d definitely buy a smaller size

We had a Morrck blanket which was even easier than the star wraps! It lived on the car seat and was so handy. Used it for 3 kids and it's the only thing I've kept now they're all too big. It's what I buy anyone I know who is having baby because I loved it so much!

I have a newborn and we use ours every day - great in car/ baby carrier etc. use instead of a pram suit. One of the best things we've bought.

Brilliant for the car and later on as another layer when popping in and out of places like nursery.
