I was going off on a train of thought while delivering leaflets today .. just to clarify I’m happily married and not worrying about any exes particularly .. but thinking about ex boyfriends from early teens through uni to now.. and how they’d see me differently, being close to them all at different points and all that..

I was imagining your very very first boyfriend and your last too.. like that’s an awkward one. Mine would have to be a tale about our kiss in a French bathroom.. and the last one (before husband) being ultra unromantic and linking us to his dental exams and needing to split up..

This would amuse me greatly and be hugely entertaining as although tbf they weee all great blokes they couldn't be more different! There would also be a father and son there!

I had three of my exes in my sitting room celebrating when I was awarded my PhD. They got on brilliantly, no awkwardness at all. But in all three cases, the split was thoroughly amicable.
