My teeth are so yellow and I'm getting embarrassed.

Any effective, non-expensive remedies that you have tried and have worked? I am desperate for something that ACTUALLY works.

Genuinely the thing that has helped mine the most is brushing them religiously night and morning for 2 minutes. My dentist told me that really was the best thing for them, but also that some people do just have slightly more yellow teeth than others.

i bought that hi-smile device with blue light. It definitely worked but my god were my teeth sensitive

I've been debating whether to get the Hismile stuff.

My son's teeth were a bit yellow so got him an oral B electric toothbrush with a 2 minute timer and it's definitely starting to make a difference.

I found that Hissmile stiff shirt.

Newwardrobe · 19/02/2023 19:35

@LapinR0se , I've just seen an ad for this and it says it uses something other than peroxide which doesn't cause sensitivity. My teeth are majorly sensitive so I don't think I could tolerate anything that makes them worse.

😁
Sorry- posted too quickly 😂. I found that stuff to be shit. Utterly useless .
My sweet smile seems to be marginally better but I am going to have to get mine professionally whitened at the dentist… although that of course depends on the price.

LapinR0se · 19/02/2023 19:38

I don’t know, mine was not hi smile brand. I bought it in Switzerland where I live. My teeth are not yellow but have staining from coffee and red wine. After 3 uses of the device all the stains were gone BUT a) my teeth were crazy sensitive and b) as soon as I went back to coffee and red wine the stains came back worse than ever. I think I just have really porous teeth???

Crest white strips are the only thing that will work short of professional whitening. You can get them online, they work.

Eucryl powder. Honestly makes a huge difference and it’s sooo cheap!

GoodnightJude1 · 19/02/2023 19:57

I second Eucryl powder. Very cheap, doesn’t cause sensitivity and actually works!
