Anyone know Melbourne really well?

I would like to send a bereavement gift to someone in Melbourne, Australia, maybe a food hamper or something like that? A gift card? A way of gifting them a meal so they don't have to cook....

Any recommendations?

TIA

What suburb do they live in? It's a big place...
There may be local options if you can be specific.

Try asking at everybump or babycentre. There's a Melbourne Reddit page too.

Thankyou. They're in Balwyn.

I’m in Melbourne and have always had good experience with the Hamper Emporium. For meals, DoorDash and Uber Eats offer gift vouchers for takeaway and will have lots of options in/around Balwyn. Providoor is a delivery service offering prepped meals from top restaurants to be reheated at home. If you’d rather give a restaurant meal you could try the Lucas Group or Best Restaurants vouchers.

Thank you Username85, this is exactly what I'm after.

If you want to gift good ready to eat meals Dinner Ladies or Fairfeed are good options. You can email them a voucher and they can choose what meals they want and when.
