First razor help please (Face/male)

As above, are Harry's any good?

It needs to be a gift, not disposable. Any help would be great.

Watching with interest. I'm a single mum of a 14yo ds. It's only a matter of time......

What about an electric one. Less chance of cutting themselves.

Ds. First one i got a Phillips one. Think was wet and dry or something.

I'm expecting to buy my 13 yr old DS an electric razor soon. His father prefers electric. I will try to get him to buy it and teach it as well. He's a very disengaged NRP

Gillette pro glide or Wilkinson sword hydro 5.
Blades these days are super expensive!

Harrys are pretty good, lots easier due to it being a subscription.
Electric ones are ok but you do need to spend a reasonable amount on them to get a decent one.

Good think about the hydro 5 is that the lube strip flips back out of the way which makes it much easier to do under your nose.

Ds1 is 16, dark haired and grew enough facial hair to warrant shaving aged 12.

I got him a cheap travel electric razor to take off the bumfluff moustache because he wanted rid of it and I was scared he'd cut himself trying to use his dad's disposables. He's only recently wanted to upgrade to a more expensive Philips electric razor and is happy to stick with that - it gives a close enough shave for him and takes no time.

What did you go for in the end OP? I'm looking to get ds14 a razor and was thinking about going for Harrys
