Travel on strike days

I'm due to be catching a train to London from Dorset on a strike day. Anyone travelled on a previous strike? What are my chances of getting a train? Should I make other plans or hold out and hope??

Ethically you shouldnt cross the picket line - you will be using scab labour!

Practically you should check with the train companies near the time but I woulnt be too hopeful - I know in December SWT out of Waterloo were only running a very limited sevice and nothing beyond Southampton. GWR also werent running if I recall

Some are able to run a limited service some are not, it depends where you are and which unions are out on that day.
