Why are Next refunding me?

I am puzzled. I ordered an item of clothing around 6 months ago. I've worn it plenty and its currently sat nicely in my wardrobe.

Randomly, Next have emailed me to say they have processed my return and will be refunding me the money.

I never requested the return.

Quite happy about the money though!

I would send 1 (suitably vague) email, which they won't respond to, and then just enjoy the 'little win'

When I sent an order back to asos they refunded me for the full amount even though I'd kept some items. I said absolutely nothing 🤷‍♂️

Sort of. They have just refunded me for an order that I picked up in store 3 weeks ago … but it is still sat here waiting for me to return it. No refund requested yet by me. I was thinking maybe they are psychic?

I like the idea of a suitably vague email thank you. Otherwise I will forever feel guilty whenever I wear this item of clothing!
