How much to fix a scratch on a car? Eeeek.

I’ve somehow managed to scratch all along the side of my car - it’s all along the passenger front door and some of the back door too. Anyone done this and know a rough cost to fix?

my DP is not going to be impressed with me 😳

How bad is the scratch? I've never done anything about scratches on my vehicles tbh, unless it's exposed bare metal and thus risking rust. But then I dgaf how they look!

Quite bad :(. My DP is very car proud so he won’t leave it we’ll have to get it fixed.

Has it just taken the paint off or dented the panels too?

What @yoshiblue said. That sounds like you've been keyed. Can you paint it yourself? A DIY shop will have small pots of car paint and a chart. You look up your car make, year and colour code and find the matching pot.

I haven't looked recently but I used to see scratch repair offers on Groupon a lot, maybe worth a look to see if there's anything local to you?

This happened to my car in Aldi at Christmas, scratched all down the door & drove off🙄 right down to the undercoat too!

I shopped round for quotes & it ended up being £170
