I had an interview on Wednesday for a local government position (nothing senior). I was told I'd hear by the end of the week but I genuinely thought it would be done than Friday lunch. There were only 4 candidates, all interviewed the same day.
Is this a normal amount of time for a council? Or can I pretty much guarantee I haven't got the job? I'm used to hearing either the same day or the following day!
