Job interview woes

I had an internal interview last Friday for a much wanted promotion, it was the second round of interviews, and I was told beforehand it was between me and 1 other candidate.
I've still not heard anything. Is this good or bad?

Driving myself crazy with all the what ifs.

I don’t think the amount of time indicates either way… I know at my place when we have been interviewing sometimes it’s really hard to find a time afterwards when we can meet to discuss the outcome.

That's fair, the hiring managers are very busy with meetings often.

I'm waiting on an interview outcome but know it will be delayed as its half term this week and only regrouping next week.

Could be that? If you've not heard by Weds, I'd follow up with them.

I found out late on yesterday. I only went and bloody got it!

I'm so excited, it's a massive promotion, I feel way out of my depth but the manager loved me and I can't wait to get started.

I drank far too much in celebration last night and now can't sleep 😕

Not helped by DH and DS2 somehow swapping beds at some point in the night and I now have a 4 year old's feet jammed in my back
