Does anyone else feel like they're taking their life in their hands trying to cross this ridiculous set up?! I swear it gets worse every week. No way would I cycle through it.

I'm a fogey and always wait for the green man but the amount near misses I have seen tonight actually scare me. Bike v bus being the worst!

I haven't seen it since September. I don't know what's going on in the City, apart from trying to put off pedestrians. Walk towards Moorgate and some crossings have been blocked off. One day I could actually see the office I was headed to across the street. I had to walk past two blocked off crossings which seemed to be open for buses and cyclists in one narrow lane where one tries to not to kill the other.

I remember the loveliness that used to be the City!

Moving out of the Square Mile, if you go to the Wellcome Collection, there are two crossings that are kind of like half a crossing - so a green man crossing for one section but not the other?

Oh that's notorious for cyclists red light jumping! I've seen several collisions there over the years. There was a phase when police used to wait around there and stop them.

Helpful “look left” or “look right” signs… to avoid the carnage… but it does seem quite, erm… reckless for tourists etc and not too clear on who can cross and when.

I crossed it tonight and it was fine. But I have a near miss with a cyclist every single day in London! Never cars.

And outside London, never cyclists!

I agree! I do cycle round it, but cautiously (and never jump lights!). But it’s utterly crap for pedestrians.

Now they’ve finally sorted the north end of London Bridge Im hoping this is next to get ticked off the ‘constant building’ list.
