Has anyone been recently to Cadbury World?

Is it a good day out? What do you do? I've heard you no longer tour the factory.

Thanks

We spent 2 hours there. My son is 10 so the playground didn't really appeal and neither did the blurb about how amazing cadbury were as an employer. There was a circus on this week but again more for smaller kids. He did love the 4d cinema though!

Thank you very much. My dc are similarly aged.

The factory tour used to be really good. Shame if they've stopped that.

Have they still got the chuckle beans though. I love them!

Took my chn (6&8) recently and it was massively overrated and I wouldn't recommend it. The first bit where they explained the history of chocolate and how they make it felt like a school trip. It felt like one long queue. There was one small ride. You got to taste one pot of choc and got 4 free bars on your way in.

We have been quite a few times. Last time we went was during Covid and a lot had changed. They seem to have closed over the parts where people would linger, to keep you moving, so they had put up a long corridor if information boards with info to read rather than the packing part of the factory. You could still try a pot of chocolate and there was the kids section and the advertisement section with buttons to press but I feel like there is less there to do than there used to be. Not sure if I would go again.

We went 2019 and I wouldn’t go back. Pretty boring day out, not much interaction. Ok for very small children but older kids and adults would be bored. No factory tour anymore either. Is only go back if we were in the area again. We tacked it onto a overnight trip to West Midlands safari
